Mars rover – A rover is moving on the surface of Mars. The soft landing of the rovers is carried out with the help of the descent vehicles.

A delay occurs when a radio signal, due to its limited propagation, takes some time to reach Mars and then reach Earth. Rovers can function for some time, including moving and performing research, independently according to pre-designed programs, receiving commands only for a while.
